Jenna Fischer's most well-known character was that of Pam Beesly from the popular television series The Office. To honor the significance of her performance, she received the Emmy award for the Best Actress in a Supporting Role and received two SAG Awards.
She was raised primarily within St. Louis Missouri. Jenna grew up watching her mother Anne performing in church plays. This instilled in her a passion for theater.
Fischer is an actress who has the theater background. She played Josh Hamilton in Neil LaBute's Off-Broadway drama Reasons to Be Happy. In the following play, she was in Steve Martin's newest production Meteor Shower. It was a comedy that was absurd, starring Greg Germann, Josh Stamberg and ran for record breaking time at Old Globe Theatre.
The Office star Angela Kinsey's closest friend from real life and Fischer began her own podcast, the Office Ladies podcast, on Earwolf, in October of the year 2019. The podcast soon gained popularity. Every week it ranked among the Top Ten in global downloads, with over 200 million in just its first couple years. Office Ladies took home the iHeart Radio Podcast of the Years award in January of 2021.
She is also co-author of Office BFF's Tales of The Office from Two Best Friends there. This memoir is about the relationship between them and how they worked for The Office.
